What up Rich long time no see! What's this about the SBR's? I'm in the dark, since when? Senate Bill 610 has passed both houses of the MI Legislature and it will be heading to Snyder for his signature. The bill will legalize SBRs and SBSs that comply with federal regulations (NFA). |

Which Snyder will most likely veto, meanwhile he will SIGN the bill that makes it a pain in the ass to sell scrap metal. Thanks, Governor asshole. |

Something needs to be done about the scrap metal business. Scrappers are tearing Detroit apart one chunk of metal at a time. I hope Snyder signs that bill. |

even if he vetos it it will go back and get an override vote and still pass! No it wouldn't. NOTHING Snyder has vetoed, has EVER gone up for an override vote, and his cronies in the Senate aren't about to start now. Remember how Snyder got the Senate to nueter and gut the repeal of handgun registration, before he'd even "let" it come to his desk? And then vetoed it anyway, after Sandy Hook? And how the senate let it die, rather than upset their dear RINO leader by overturning his veto? Yeah. That. An override won't happen. |

And it fucks over EVERY person doing it legally, not to mention complicating life for the scrap metal buying companies. I dunno... why not ENFORCE the laws already on the books, rather than making new ones? And Detroit is a lost cause. The rest of the state shouldn't have to suffer for their follies. |

Is there a differnce between a Basic Trust such as what WillMaker could make and an actual NFA Trust? I thought a NFA Trust was very specific. The only things that you'll want a lawyer for is if you want more than yourself to be in possession of the items in that trust. WillMaker software will make it legal and proper, but only for one individual being in possession (as far as I can read anyways). My local "trust lawyer" wanted $400 to draft me up something that he likely copy/pastes with my name and trust in it. The way I made mine cost me almost nothing and has served me for a few years now. |
