hey guys just wanted to ask about what are some good things to see and do while I'm in philly.  and apparently pocket knives aren't  allowed in any museums.   I went downtown today. market st was interesting. mainly just saw the liberty bell and things like that. thanks!

Eastern State Pen - Al Capone live there for a time.
USS Olympia - Comm Dewey's flagship at Manila Bay in 1898.
USS New Jersey - I suggest the "firepower" tour.
Constitution Center
Franklin Institute and Science Museum

Just a few off the top of my head.

King Tut exhibit is showing at the Franklin Institute (20th and BF Parkway).  Good if you like historical stuff. Admission is around $30/person.

If you’re a baseball fan you might want to try seeing a Phillies game or two.  They're away most of this week, but will be back next week.

Everyone's giving you the things to see, so since you're not from around these parts - I'll tell you what not to see: the Broad st. Subway, a housing project, and any neighborHOOD that looks like England after the Germans bombed it. Use your head and be safe.
