I just realized there was stripped AK recievers at the Tulsa Gun Show, that I forgot to go back and buy.  By chance, does anyone know who that was on the upper level in the far back that had those?

PC, they wanted $100 for a receiver. I need a couple but I passed on that price.

Dan, a couple of years ago the good NDS ones were costing me $80-$100. You could get the cheaper generic ones from them for $65 or so. What brand were those?

Last ones I bought were Armory at $59 a piece. It was two years ago. I can't see paying $100 for Ohio Ordnance made receivers that are way out of spec.

Well I cant speak for the quality of those others, but the NDS ones were definately top of the line. I believe that Ndenway will agree.

NDS are the best recievers I've seen, at least in my mind, their krink, amd, rpk and 74 receivers are spot on, all the rivet holes are predrilled and on most right where they sould be.

even the $50 economy standard ak receiver is pretty Goddamned good, some runs of them were a bit short off the front trunnion, but nothing a good assembler couldn't hide.

then there's always the flats as an option.

Never got  my hands on a NDS. But I will shortly.
Nden and Chuck both told me they are good.
That's makes them worth the money most likely.

It was AKBuilder.com that had the receivers and parts at Wanenmachers.  There were a few booths that had parts kits also.  I missed out on a yugo (flat trunion) kit for $325, I went back with funds to get it and it was just sold..uggh.

I hadn't realized parts kits had gone up that much!  New AMD-65 kits for $125....I should have bought a few!  I have one a Polish underfolder I need to build and a Romanian.

Dan...let me know if you find some of those recievers, as I need two!!!!

nds even makes a underfolder receiver with all the necessary cuts, as for amd kits, I remember when clearwater(?) clearview(?) investments had them for $69.
