| A person over 18 but under 21 can legally own a handgun, they can legally buy a handgun - just not from a dealer. It has to be purchased from an individual (how stupid is that law?). CC/OC in TN I am not sure if there is a 21 year age requirement but in many other states you can CC/OC at age 18. |
| I think age requirements are a dumb way to determine when you can defend your life (there are many young folks I would trust to carry, as well as many who I would not), but I also think people who vote should have to pass a test to show they are not dumb asses, before they can vote. |
| What really chaps my behind about the great state of Tennessee's gun laws is the fact I cannot carry a rifle and loaded mag together (legally) in my vehicle. Also the fact that a person cannot carry a handgun in his or her vehicle without the states permission. The bangers in Memphis don't care about laws.... things need to change |
