I'm looking to build a liteweight 16" AR and am considering one of your kits. All other things being equal, which is the lighter weight, the Expedition or M-4 style?

Are both in stock and available? Also, is it possible to exchange the front sight for a railed gas block? Cost?

The new style mock M-4 is lighter, and are in stock. The 16" Expedition barrels are currently on backorder. The expedition is available with the rail gas block, the post ban mock M-4's are only available with the sight tower (due to the faux flash hider).

I didn't see a pic of the M4 kit on the site... Is it available with an A2 upper receiver? Stock options? Thanks.

You can see the upper on the barreled uppers page. Once the new shopping software is integrated there will be a build a kit page which will show all of the options for different kits. (still months away though)

You can get it with the A-2 or flattop upper, A-2 or CAR stock, or you can upgrade to the M-4 style stock (+$20), aluminum CAR stock (+$40), or the new tactical stock (short version of an A-2 style stock).
