If it's my money I'm using.......there's other options for my needs that would work just as well and are cheaper. But, it'd be cool to have a nifty non-standard 1911. |

i want a mil spec GI style 1911A1 manufactured @ the RRA armory. their products are top shelf quality for bottom shelf price, which is right up my alley

From what I understand they have no plans on getting back in to the 1911 game. I would recommend Bob Miller at Miller Custom. He worked there for a while and is responsible for the high quality of product coming out of there. Top quality at very fair prices for a custom pistol. Ill post pics of my Miller Custom when I take delivery in a week or two. So far I am very impressed.

I have a RRA Basic Limited Match, ordered July 2001, received November 2002.....Outstanding pistol, the finest 1911 I have ever shot way smooher and more accurate than my buddies $3000 Baer and Wilson's. I paid $1200....what a steal.
I really want another one, IMO, a big mistake for RRA to cease making the 1911 77 |

Yep, they had the best buy for a semi custom. |

see this is what i kept hearing. Several knowledgeable sources said the RRA 1911 is as good or better than any other for any price, and being a RRA ar15 owner i find that to be very believable.
