I got in on the 1-6 being in stock last week and got one not knowing much about the mount options and wanting to save some money, I got the basic Primary Arms mount.  I haven't had a chance to shoot yet, but i'm starting to worry that I made a mistake.  is there an advantage to the deluxe or deluxe extended mount.  I figured I could save the difference and put towards other parts down the road.  I feel like I need to work on a consistent cheek weld and that I may not be getting my cheek low enough on the stock so my sight picture isn't as good.  would any of the other mounts have helped with that?

Do you shoot with your nose close to the charging handle or much further back, assuming its an AR

Probably a little further out. I really haven't thought about it much.

You need to try it. The std mount is fine if you get enough eye relief. You do want to use low strength Loc-Tite and let it dry overnight

Will do.  Thanks. I'll let you know.
