Just placed my first Larue order this past Sunday night. By lunch time on Monday I had an email with a tracking number and today at lunch I had a nice box on my front porch. Living in Texas rocks! As I was getting ready to open the box after work, wouldn't you know it, the phone rings. It's my part time machine shop gig calling me in to make parts for a few hours. Didn't get to see my Larue goodness until after 10 pm. Mucho thanks to Larue Tactical for making the good stuff and also to the shipping dept. for the super fast service

He made no mention of the sandwich maker and I declare that asking for pictures of the wife without mention of her means that YOU my friend are the one required to post pics of yours

To the OP, well what did you order?! Welcome to the madness that the dillo dust creates

Just imagine if they had a Small retail shop...

Would not really take that much room...

1 Wall with example of each Model Rifle and its various lengths.

vertical column for each type of Rifle (this I'll have if I ever win the Lotto)

Stealths

OBR 762

OBR 556

PredatAR 762

PredatAR 556

PredatOBR 762

PredatOBR 556

So 7 rifles wide by 6 High, IF all rifles came in all lengths, <<10.5", 12", 14.6", 16.x", 18", 20">>)

Then a few counters with Optics, Scopes and other Go fast Goodies...

And of course and apparel scection...

You know many folks here would make the anual (or more often) pilgramage...

Or just a pickup window like Midwayusa has....

Hell, I live 5 miles away.  I'd be in there multiple times a week...

I like where this is going.  Don't forget, there are shootin' facilities at that factory as well.

I really wanted to buy a complete rifle but a water leak in my house changed those plans. I did however, have a collection of parts that could go toward the build of a rifle so I went that route. From Larue I ordered a stock and a buffer spring. Nothing major but I already have a new wish list made.

Sorry, no pics of a sandwich maker since I am currently without one.

5.2 miles myself.  Surprising how many times you get asked if you work there when you have an LT shirt on in this area.

As much as I hate to say this, with as large of a following as LT has, and as many people who love them, a retail store would be a nightmare.  We all know Mark isnt going to do something half way, so it would have to be a huge store and amazing inside.  The time and people this would take to do and do right would be a whole entire business.  Hell, I live in Idaho and I would drive to a LT retail store.  Thats a lot of space and a lot of people answering questions to what I would be willing to guess would be a majority of tire kickers.

A Larue brick and mortar store would cause my wallet to catch on fire.

Ok, ok, I admit, it's really 5.7 miles.  I should have known to be more accurate (or is it hyper-accurate?  ).  After all, this is a LaRue forum... the Dead Center of Precision....

I agree with this.

Too many businesses try to get involved in ventures outside what they do well, and eventually suffer from it.
Stick with what's working and keep the focus on that/those things.
