Has anyone done t his on their Daniel Defense rifles? Here is a link to one group that has a conversion. My thought was with the lack of and the expense of current 223/556 ammo, the 22lr may be a better/cheaper alternative to shooting.

Yep.
I have the Stainless Bravo kit and I put .22LR threw my DD barrel all the time without issues and I'm a bit lazy about cleaning. Barrels are consumable parts, If you lead one out or shoot one out, you replace it, no big deal so why wouldn't you use a .22LR kit on a Daniel Defense? Btw CMMG's magazines suck. Buy the Black Dog Machine X-Form magazines if you get a conversion. |
