The CMMG 22 conversion kit for AR15  that I bought last week well I went to try it out yesterday I was all excited fired 2 rounds and then no joy...seems the extractor does not want to grab the casing and eject and when it does grab the casing it will let go and the spent casing will fall straight down into the fire control group I have also tried to cycle the rifle manually and the same thing happens, the casing does not stick in the chamber it will fall right out if I turn the rifle up on end ammo used was Federal bulk pack,Blazer CCI, and Remington Thunderbolt all with the same result ...
also tried this kit in several different rifles a 20" a 16" middy and 11.5" "papered" SBR all with the same result
any suggestions? ... I did try polishing the chamber from the muzzle end using a bore brush and cordless drill as suggested in another thread
thanks for any help

ETA: it seemed 1 out of every 5-6 rounds would actually extract out the ejection port and the casing landed at my feet

There was another post in the rimfire section about extractor problems recently (+3-4 wks ago) - you could check there for hints..

Black Dog machine has extractors that will work in your conversion if you decide to change it out..
