Battery life is better (8-9 years w/ M4s) also battery availability is slightly better than T-1 (AA battery is abundant anywhere you look).

I own CompM2, M4, M4s, T1, H1... they all do the same thing albeit in slightly different packages.

Just boils down to personal preference, really.

You wanna save some weight and have a slimmer profile go with a T1. If you've shot more traditional Aimpoints (like the Comp-series) you'll find your self right at home with the M4/M4s models.

I do tend to think the M4 is a slightly tougher sight in terms of durability and design, but that's not to say the micro isn't tough as nails in its own right.

I prefer the 30mm tube over the T1.  Purely subjective, I feel I have faster target acquisition.

Micro T-1 for me hands down.  Slim design, light weight, and target acquisition faster then any red dot i have owned.  It is also very durable and can take a beating not that the others can't but you would think it is fragile looking compared to the M4's but don't be fooled it is a tough little guy.  For me the less weight the better on your rig...when you start loading her up with toys the weight will add up and for CQB I would like to keep it more compact and lite. Just my 2 cents.  It basically comes down to personnel prefrence and what you are comfortable with...thats whats most important.

I think the M-4s will work better for the NV gear. I like the larger diameter as well. What you plan on using the rig for is what should determine what you place on the weapon. Mine have to serve dual purpose roles so they are currently configured a little heavy. I have a magnifier on a FTS LT QD mount behind my M4s and my EOTech equipped rifles for open field usage. If my need was strictly heavy woods or urban CQB, I would pocket the magnifiers.....

i bought a m4 when they first came out. (did they come out in 2005-06? i think thats right) i have had it on the entire time. just a few months ago i decided to replace the battery for no reason. i bought a pack of 2 high quality energizers. worst part is i dont know what to do with the other one. it will be expired by the time i need it lol.

anyway go with the m4. i like my micros but the m4 is great with nv.

best of luck with your decision... post picks when its decked out
