With complaints of 4 rail hand guard being to heavy I think Magpul should make a polymer 4 rail hand guard.
I'd buy one. How many of you guys would? |

heh? daniel defense makes some very light handguards that rival the weight of polymer/plastic ones. once you factor in the barrel nut and delta ring and front end cap for the MOE and the MOE itself it will be near the weight of a complete daniel defense lite or M4 rail that are the same length. maybe a couple ounces lighter but not more. and with the DD rails you get free float and much more sturdiness.
so I'm sure a polymer railed handguard would weigh even more than the MOE. don't do it for the weight. maybe the price but not the weight. |
