I have a Colt AR15A3 Carbine (Model 6721?). The front take down pin is threaded and held in place by a screw/nut. Can this be replaced with a "push out" style takedown pin? Thanks, Rich |

It is the small hole pin but..... I have an early one too and it is not drilled for the detent and spring, they do make a pin that will replace it, it is slightly longer and has a ball detent on the end so as to hold it in place I also have a couple 9mm recievers that have been modified to take the detent and spring in order to use the push pin, an easy modification |
