It's for a gift for my son or I would do exactly what you suggested. He wants the Colt Edition. The one on GB is a little pricey. |

About halfway down. OD receiver though. Imo, the only reason to get one of the colored ones would be to get the receiver to match. Magpul furniture is cheap, but a matching receiver is pretty hard to find. That website isn't a normal online dealer, so you'll need to call. There are supposed to be new offerings of the 6920 minus furniture and handguards so you can add your own. They just aren't out yet. |

I'm going to get one of those OEM 1s when they come out and put OD M-LOK furniture on it. Thanks for the suggestion. |
