What should a used Colt 6921 Upper go for, 14.5 bbl, fixed A2 carry handle, complete bolt and a tacked on Phanton FH to bring it to 16.1 inch bbl?

Alright. So you can buy a brand new LE6921/R0977 upper receiver group for $900-$950 depending on where you go / who you know. These are flattop uppers with carry handle, 1/7 twist chrome lined, m4 ramps, etc.
With that being said, If I were you I would probably post it in the EE for $800 shipped. Lightly used shouldn't hurt the resale value too much if any, which it sounds like yours is, however the fixed carry handle is less desirable for most people. You might be able to get $850 or even $900 for it if someone is looking for that specific configuration, so you may want to start it there. You will also want to post pictures of it and especially of the fixed flash hider. I am assuming it's pinned? If it's welded then that will probably hurt the value a little bit. HTH!

I would rather sell the upper to some one who will appreciate it or some one in a ban state who can't get a new 6940. I've actually thought about picking up a LE6940 upper, cutting down the barrel to 11.5" and replacing the flip up sight block with a standard front sight block.. Then I decided that was a stupid idea and I'll just wait until the SBR versions come out. 
ETA: I just can't go any longer than 14.5" and that's pushing it...

It was mine to start with and I don't have any Class 3 soooo. Used as well, but I got it at a good price. The main reason I asked was that someone wanted to buy it. Most of my stuff I but and keep so I was looking for a price range. I can still get the 14.5 complete upper but the only ones I have access to are used with carry handles. Thanks for the info |

But from my perspective (since I recently bought a new M4A2 upper), I specifically was looking for an original barrel with no mods since I have NFA lowers to use it on. |
