Greetings, I'm looking to purchase one of your 9mm uppers. If I install your propreitary 9mm hammer in my lower would it work with your A4 5.56 Upper that I own? Just a little confused after reading through 9mm FAQ's on the pistol caliber page and want to here it from the horse's mouth. Thanks LittleLamb |
Yes. It should (and always has for us) still function if used with a .223/5.56mm upper half. I only say "should" because as soon as I say "will". thirteen squirrels will post that their buddy's mailman's cousin's didn't work that way... You will have to remove the magwell conversion block if you go from 9mm to .223, and may have to switch buffers, depending on stock configuration you're going to run. If running a CAR length extension, you can keep the (mm buffer in place without doing anything. If you're running an Aw stock withthe CAR buffer and spring and the stock spacer, you'll have to remove all three and replace with a std rifle buffer and action spring. Steve/RRA |
