I ordered a 9mm upper Oct 8th. I am planning on getting a 9mm suppressor. I understand RR threads there 9mm uppers .5 x 36.  (Edited to reflect correct size)

Is it possible to call and have it threaded .5 x 28?

I want to use the suppressor on the 9mm upper and the glock pistols I have.

Thanks in advance,

cool, must have been thinking of the 28 as to why I said 38. Thanks for the correction.

i've got one. i understand they thread it 1/2 X 36 to prevent the possibility of putting a standard 5.56 flash hider on it. if you look around there are thread adapters that will accommodate you i believe. of course you can send it to off and have 1/2 X 28 machined on it.

i was pretty happy with this guy's work...

It's kind of like Henry Ford on the color choice of a modle T.
From the factory, you can have any thread you would like on a 9mm, as long as it is 1/2-36.

Steve,
That's funny as hell! I guess I need to look at adapters or something. Any suggestions?

1 more question,

Whats the actual length of the 16" upper? Wondering if there's room to cut and re-thread.

my brother sent his 16" bushy with a pinned/welded flash hider in to get threaded and Chris said he would do it but the lower would need to be SBR'd.

...pass

TROS (ther riddle of steel, I think) offers adaptors to and from just about every thread pitchand size ever used on a muzzle.
