A2 Stocks > Magpul

Ive searched the entire magpul forum and havent seen anything about an A2. The standard A2 is a design thats classic in form and function but i'd like to see a magpul verson of the A2. I know that they have the PRS but a simple A2 styled stock with simple sling attachment points would be awesome.

I'm sure Magpul has 87 other things to work on at the moment, and that they have a thing for innovating more than rehashing

Something like a rifle length MOE-esque stock is being worked on, last I heard.

I run an A2 anyway, and I'd like to be able to use my old BF/Vickers QD sling on it. Maybe they could even make a buttstock cleaning kit to go with?

This was brought up awhile ago and pretty sure Magpul stated that it is not something they will be pursuing.

With the A5 buffer system from Vltor, an A2 stock isn't going to command a huge pile of demand. The niche, IMO... and I'm often wrong..

is for an A1 length stock.

There's not a good option for a STRONG A1 length fixed stock.

I said it in the last thread, and I'll say it in this one:

An ACR-style fixed stock adapted for the AR would be perfect. Obviously, the
adjustable cheek pad wouldn't work, the top of the stock would have to
be straight, but the rest of the features would still make it a great
stock.

It could even be built around the existing rifle or entry buffer tube.

I would buy one. Since Magpul didn't have what I was looking for I went with a Vltor rifle length Modstock

Would like an A2 MOE stock. Just ordered a rifle length MOE handguard, and a buttstock to go with it would be the cats ass.

I think the ACR fixed would be pretty perfect, I mean if you look at it, there is some MOE styling cues

But then it wouldnt be a MOE A2 stock
