I want to use the LaRue buis with a DD fixed front sight on a sbr build. I am thinking a same plane sight is what I want based on the limited information I have found so far.
Pros Cons? I can't really find a detailed report on the differences.

Same plane is the better option for a windage-only BUIS. To use the offset on the A2 aperture correctly, you'd need it mounted in a sight with the A2 elevation drum. Just my opinion. The A2 will work, but you'll need to account for the elevation offset between the apertures.
