I just received my PA 6X w/ ACSS reticle yesterday.  On the back of the instructions sheet there’s a table (see below).

I don’t understand what the table is for or what it means.

Help!

Locate the ammo you are using. Go down until you see your barrel length. Go over until you at your approx. elevation. The square you land in is where you need to zero at 100 yards.

As an example... Let's say you're shooting M193 out of a 16'' barrel and you're at approx 1800 feet elevation (therefore we'll use 2000). Your zero will be .5'' above the bull at 100 yards.

Its barrel size, how high to zero at 100 yards in inches for your altitude depending on round.

What is your altitude, barrel length and round?

Thanks, got it now.  I'll be using M855 out of a 20" barrel at approximately 1,500 feet, so I guess I need to zero about a 1/4" low at 100 yards, right?

I'd probably just go with a true zero for simplicity sake

Yeah, probably not a bad idea, especially if I decide to shoot some lighter bullets like M193.

By the way, I'm impressed with the scope and PA's speedy shipping  I can't wait to get my build done and try the scope out.
