I just got a Explorer AR-7.



It not new but still nice. I thought to my self I should get this thread for my OutBack II can.



But the barrel is very thin. What is min. thickness to have the barrel threaded 1/2x28 and what .400" deep? so I do not have to use a washer.

danm I failed on both.



The dia in .500 spot on but .550 about 2 inches back. But that would make it an SBR....

Edit, can you thread it down to something like my Walther p22 barrel, and I can run an adapter?
