Hi Steve , I just picked up my new A4 Varmint and I cannot get thr rear lower half  to go thru the upper without using a lot of force  Any easy remedies you can think of ? It looks like the upper half receiver hole is drilled just a little off center but not much.

                                                         Thanks, Randy

They're always tight (initially).  The first several times you assemble the upper to the lower, put a film of CLP onthe upper's lug, then lightly tap it with a rubber mallet/plastic hammer/etc...into the lower.  It will get a little easier each time as the anodized surfacges "adapt" to one another.  Once you've done that, and normally fired about 200 rounds, it will be as loose as it will ever get...and probbaly still be a tighter fit than a lot of brand new rifles that you might find on the market.
If that doesn't work for you, let me know and we'll discuss other options.

PS....going wood chucking/ground hog popping with the upper?

Thanks for quick reply, I bought this to use as a prairie dog walking gun. We have been going out since 1994 and it's very addictive. A friend of mine has a Colt and I shot it a few times and was hooked.  Thanks again for the fast response.
