Is it possible to have a shallow cut commercial receiver tube.
I'm guessing that commercial tubes have a deeper pin groove than a mil spec which explains a longer pin. I have spent the better part of an hour trying to press fit the longer pin and no matter how it is manipulated it is too long. The pin for the mil spec tube fits perfectly. No slop top to bottom. I understand that it is a shorter pin and should fit easily but on my tube it fits great. Is it possible to have the mil spec pin fit fine in a commercial tube properly? I know I answered my own question but I would like some input. The tube (kit) came from Del-Ton. |
