I have one of the older model ATH's and it is quite the accurate rifle.  Looking to get another but have a question...

I ordered my old one with the extended 15" handguard.  Is that still an option now?  Or better yet can I order an ATH upper with the RRA-TRO XL?  

I would just get the R3 but my rifle shoots circles around my buddies R3.

Yes to both handguards.
You might have to call in your order to Sales (866-980-7625), but that's a pretty easy upgrade.
