[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Armalite Barrel Question

Just ordered a new production Post-Ban Armalite Midlength barrel (clamp gas block) and would like to remove the pinned brake and replace with FH. I've heard everything from "Armalite uses pressed brakes and has no threads underneath" to "AR uses one or two pins at a slant angle". Was going to put barrel on M4 feedramp upper.

Please let me know what you think will need to be done. Thanks...

I am pretty sure that new production are threaded under a pinned FH. In that case you would need a muzzle device removal and a new FH. Worst case would be muzzle device removal, dis/re-assemble, barrel thread, and new muzzle device.
