| I just installed my short throw lever and have a question. When the rifle is not cocked, I can move the safety 1/2 way to safe and it will stay there until i pull on the trigger at which point it will snap back into the fire position. Is this normal? |
Sorry I did not see this thread  It is normal. On a 90 degree selector it will do the same thing as well. The slack on the selector (45 or 90 degree) exists on most receivers, in that you can rotate it past Fire (when the hammer is uncocked) by about 5 to 10 degrees, if you pull the trigger it will snap the selector back to Safe.  |
