While I research optics for my carbine, I am going to buy a set of BUIS so I can start playing with it. I'm considering the two below it but don't understand if there is an advantage to di-optic aperture over a standard iron site? Any feedback or opinions would be appreciated.

I've got the Troy flip ups on 3-4 guns and they are well built.

I'm going with the HK style for my tAR 16" 5.56 since I'm so use to that style.

Always wanted to try some 45 degree offset sights though.

I prefer option B because its what I am more used to seeing, however I have option A on my 556 pred and works the same, with no real difference seen.

I do believe it's a matter of personal preference.  I've tried both, and personally I prefer a round aperture over a diamond.  Not sure why, I just do.

I had the di-optic reticle. I know I have bad eyes, but the rear aperture still ended up looking like a circle. I don't think I messed with the open top small aperture. I didn't use them much and I ended up selling them.
