Let me first say that Brownells has always treated me well in the past and has provided exceptional customer service. I go out of my way to always order from them if they have what I need.
That said, there has been loads of chatter in the AR mag section about Brownells shipping orders to people while people with longer back order times are still waiting. I can't imagine all the posts on this are BS, so what is going on? I happen to be one of the people who have been happily waiting in the back order line since mid November for Pmags, but I start to get a little fired up when I hear that people who ordered after me have gotten theirs already. |

We appreciate your interest in Brownells and your inquiry. The post-election interest of all AR parts has caused significant stock outages beyond our control. We are doing our very best to re-stock as quickly and regularly as possible. At this time there is no guarantee date of when the orders will be filled. We do apologize for any inconvenience.
The lower parts kits are coming in at about 500 per week from DPMS and they are going out in the order they were received. We currently have over 6500 on B/O. When they come in is not so important as where the customer stands in the B/O list. |

I have to say Brownells is doing at least as much as anyone else in the business under a rather difficult circumstance. I for one am quite happy to note first off that while many industries are struggling to stay afloat, others are awash in new business. Brownells stocks one of the most diverse parts lists and has the best delivery and tracking system of any. So what if your stuff is on back order, all the other part vendors are backordered as well. If you are going to have to wait, do it with the prime satisfaction of knowing that somewhere out there, someone is working overtime to better serve you. Your peace of mind and quality of character depend on it. Not to mention your project will have more meaning if you hold out for the select part you really want, or whether you jump the gun to buy what looks available in a panic simply because you've lost your patience. That doesn't always turn out so good, breath deep, relax... |

brownell picked a bad partner in some cases dpms to name one they are a class co {brownells} but need to do pre marriage counseling more often i think. Do you live under a rock? Name ANYONE in the AR industry that is not behind. You can't, because everyone is. I have bought a ton of DPMS stuff from Brownell's, before the election and never had a issue. Give both DPMS and Brownell's time and they will get caught up. |

I really don't understand what this could possibly mean, someone thinks DPMS would make a bad partner? Even if Brownells and DPMS were in any partnership, (which I rather doubt) it would probably be a good thing. DPMS is a respected company, (by anyone who knows anything about them) when I see someone dis DPMS like this I want to hear their personal experience with that company so I can believe their story, or raise the BS flag on it, depending on how believable it is. What's the scoop, is DPMS a bad company or are you full of it?
