I was putting a lower together today and ran into a snag. I have a Battle Arms "Bad Ass" Ambi Safety that I was installing. OK, this thing should NOT rotate back to where auto would be. I have checked, double checked, and triple checked myself and can't figure it out. I put the detente and spring in, put on the grip, and the damn thing STILL flips over to auto. My lower and trigger are SEMI, so it's not them.  I'm using the large selector on one side and the small one on the other.  I won this kit at a competition a while back and I think it may have been missing a few of the selector selections.

Ohh, the trigger used is a Hogan Gold Standard.
Any suggestions?

Which model is it? Did you out the detent back in for the safety. If everything is right you may have a full auto selector.

Contact Duffy at battle arms.

Yes, I put the detent back in for the safety.  I put it on fire, and the hammer releases.  I put it on safe, the safety is good.  I put it on auto, the hammer releases.  It's a battle Arms Ambi Safety Selector 3 Lever Kit for the Ar-15 & Ar-10.  The cage code on the package is 5JQWB.  The package states that it is "Semi-Auto."  This is the strangest thing.

Thank you!

Thanks for giving us the opportunity to make this right.  Sometimes, though it's kind of rare, folks get upset right away and kick us to the curb before we got a chance to fix it

Given our reputation, it's not unreasonable to expect our product to work perfectly the first time, and every time.  Not to make excuses for ourselves or others, there's no 100%.  Machines are precise, but tools and bits wear and need to be replaced, and far more fallible are human operators.  All point to a lemon now and then
