So I got 4 Brownell's for Christmas and I just ordered 4 C-Products from Denny's.  NONE of the Brownells mags work in my gun, and only two of the ones I ordered from Denny's work.  So basically I'm batting 25% here ...

What is your exact problem with the magazines, you left this very vague

What kind of problems? and what kind of Rifle are these magazines being used in

I would suggest contacting Brownell's and Denny's to rectify this problem

Thanks

I would be seriously wondering what the hell is going on if that many mags don't work in my rifle.

I have over almost 100 mags and they all work in 3 different rifle. What the hell is going on with your rifle?

More details on the kinds of malfunctions would help us figure out what the real problem is.

The rifle I'm using them in is a Rock River..... As far as contacting Denny's and Brownell's, maybe they are having difficulty receiving email from me, b/c I haven't heard back from them...

Does your rifle have a problem?  I've got a whole bunch of C Products mags and have yet to have one fail to work reliably in any of my 5 .223 chambered rifles...

I've heard rumors that some RRAs have tight mag wells.  I can't substantiate that myself, but if you are having problems inserting mags, maybe that is it?  Do you know someone else you can have try your mags in their rifle?

I'll move this thread to the Rock River Industry Forum for you, they should be able to help you in there. If they do not I do believe Rock River has a Toll Free Number that you can try

Knowing what kind of problem you're having would certainly help.  What caliber are we talking?  Is it a fit issue?  Failure to feed from the mags?  They won't lock in?  Failure to lock the bolt back?
I'm sure that we can help you...we just need to know how.
Thanks.

Ok... My rifle is a RRA .223 CAR A4.  I have ordered 10 magazines total from Brownell's and Denny's.  The first two I ordered from Denny's were great - no problems.  Then I got the 4 from Brownell's.  3 of the magazines would have to be beaten into the lower with a rubber mallet just to get them to fit.  The other magazine will go in, but it's tight, and will not freely eject.  I tried these magazines in two different Bushmasters, and a S&W M&P.  All four magazines would either not fit, or would not freely eject.

Then I ordered 4 more C-Products magazines from Denny's.  Of the four that I ordered, two worked in my gun.  So I tried the other two in the two Bushmasters and M&P.  Magazine "A" worked in the M&P, but not the Bushmasters.  Magazine "B" worked in 1 of the Bushmasters, but not the other Bushmaster or the M&P.

Based on the fact that I tried these magazines in three different manufacturers firearms, I really don't see this as a Rock River issue.

I've always found that a phone call is the best way to contact anyone.  E-mails sometimes get relegated to the "in basket".

Hmm, this is weird! Every mag I have ever gotten for my RRA fit like a charm. Granted, you sometimes have to give a stern tap on the bottom of the mag to get them to seat, but I am guessing thats normal.   Have you checked to see if there are any irregularities inside of your mag well?

Here's the deal, or at least the deal on my RRA standard A4.  I bought my complete rifle from a Maryland dealer (another story in itself) and the mag that came with it fit fine.  I ordered 4 additional from RRA and nary a single one fit. hem.
After switching the upper/lower on a Stag and Colt upper/lower I came to the conclusion that there was something amis with my lower.  When assembled, the RRA mags (and some others) would not go in far enough to allow the mag catch to engage.

RRA issued me a RA# and I shipped it back to them.  Actually I thought I did, but UPS shipped it back to me.

If you put a mag in with the upper off, it catches, so something is up when you assemble the rifle.  It's either the lower (my guess) or the upper.

In any case, I think the RRA products are awesome, look great, shoot great, their service is top notch and the folks there are friendly and helpful.

The dealer . . . . well that is a horse of a different color

RRA looked at it and send back a new lower.  Now since the numbers for the lower I bought and the lower I recieved as a replacement aren't the same on the People's Republic of Maryland,I am wondering if I will have any issues later?

In any case, RRA sent me the new lower, the case the freaking idiot dealer didn't give me as well as an owners manual.

Turn around had to be less than a week.

Thanks RRA!
