You shouldn't have to spend a fortune and a quarter to a half of your barrel's life to "break it in". we want you to be able to go out and shoot your rifle for whatever your intended purpose, so we have our barrels made specifically to that end. Extra stress relief processes (including cryo treatment of more and more of them), lapping, etc...are all part of that effort.
