I ordered a 7'' rail not too long ago and a bcg two weeks ago, both showed up within a week. I ordered parts , mounts and dvds. over a week ago . I was just wonderering which one it was. |

I'm pretty sure LaRue is very busy like all the other AR manufactures and "AR Supply" goodies stores, But will you get a free hat, beverage entry tool, dillo dust for your order with anybody else?
I ordered some goodies on the 17th of Dec., didn't run my CC until yesterday but received E-mail with shipment tracking #. As I have always received the best Customer Service from LaRue they will always get my business. Give them some time, expect 1 week to 4 week depending on the item ordered. |

I think that a lot of the items are backordered, as I have an order for 5-6 items from almost 4 weeks ago that hasn't shipped yet (including a 9 inch handguard). I ordered a BUIS a few weeks after that and it shipped and arrived quickly. I also ordered an eotech mount not long after the first order, but ordered it from a vendor that had it in stock to avoid any delays.
Luckily, I'm not in a hurry to finish this build. Nobody seems to have any 16 inch chrome-lined barrels with a mid-length gas system and FSB in stock. 
A lot of vendors are selling out of items, and many of the manufacturers and suppliers can't keep up with demand at this time. |
I'm guessing it's just demand. A lot of people are in panic-buying mode right now. I had a FUG backordered since mid-November... and I know that I'm not the only one awaiting a FUG. I was told yesterday (a nice lady from LaRue called me because they were having trouble running my card) that mine will be going out forthwith.... so they're apparently making headway!

For LaRue made stuff they make most of their stuff in runs. So if you ordered the last 7.0 rail they had in stock it might be 3 weeks before they make another run of them, and the person who ordered one after you will have to wait.
Some items are made to order like SPR 1.93's, and it will be a few days before made and shipped. It would be counter productive to make every made to order, and the average wait time would increase quite a bit. For non LT made stuff it just depends on their stock, and when they get more in. You can always call and ask before ordering....
