6933 transitioned from the car stock to the milspec waffle stock somewhere between 2004 and 2009; don’t know exact year but it’s also when they changed from round car handguards to m4 oval ones. Then from there they went to cage code waffle stocks whenever those started popping up; but Colt never had logos stocks |

One of my recent production SOCOMS, bought new in 2022, has 4U486 in one block and MADE IN USA in the other, as does my 6960, bought new in 2021. I have a 6720, purchased new 2019, that is marked same as the first mentioned 6920, 13629 and 4U486. |
