There are lots of unexplained 'dillos that show up in the hands of our troops, & LEOs.  Also provided as a "goodie" with certain training courses.

I have to ask ... I have like 7 dillos now, and I don't think I've ever used one even a single time.  Most are still in the packages in my big box of spare parts/crap.

Do you guys actually use your dillos on a regular basis?

(FYI, this may be because I've carried a cast iron bottle opener on my keys since I was 16 or so, so that is always what I reach for).

Out of my massive collection, ( 3 ) I've used 1.  But it's well used.  I only drink beer out of bottles.

I have a bottle opener on my keys but I always grab the dillo (hung over a magnet on the side of the fridge) when I get a beer as it just works better. I also like to give them to my liberal neighbors to use

I have several that I use.  The others are just sitting on my desk at work.  They serve as my variation of a zen garden when I get stressed at work

I have one on my keys. Use it as a screw driver, sight tool and of course to open bottles. We also keep a few in the kitchen. The rest I give away to friends and family.

How are you guys putting them on your keys?  I tried just putting my key ring through the eye hole, but I didn't like the fact that it wasn't free to move around so that it could shift around in my pocket without bulging out or stabbing me in the leg.

That's what I tried, but I wasn't crazy about the ring being perpendicular to the dillo.  I hate it when my key chain gets too bulky though.

You should totaly trade me one of those '07 Christmas Dillos for my extra '08.

As much as I hate to use EBay now, I am bidding on this rascal so as to make a more complete Dillio history collection

Exactly.  It's too fat IMO to carry, it doesn't lay flat with the rest of the keys like my other one does, the thickness of the dillo makes it lay off at a 40 degree or so angle from the rest of my keys, stabbing my leg and hand when I try to grab it.

A solution would seem to be a bigger key chain ... but I don't want to carry around a mega keychain.

When I open my beer tonight, I'll try a dillo for the first time though :)

For those who use it as a key chain, what about attaching a smaller ring through the eye then attaching the larger ring through that?  Basically like a chain mail link though the eye which attaches the large key ring to the dillo... just a thought.
