I just got my Dead Air Primal out of jail. I’m using a Griffin Taper Mount micro flash hider on the Banshee. Does anyone know the torque spec for the muzzle device? Also, is red Loctite recommended?

Thanks. I’ve had it for about eight months and I haven’t shot it yet. I’ve been waiting to get the suppressor. I need to decide on an optic for it.

Also, does anybody know if I need to use any type of washer between the flash hider and the shoulder of the barrel?
EDIT: Nevermind. I got the answer in the AR General Discussion sub-forum.

I thoroughly degrease and then Rocksett all suppressor mounts, including Griffin Taper mounts. No shims required. I don’t remember the torque spec, but you could Google around for it. I torque them by hand “tight”, but not “gorilla tight”.
