| Does anyone know what the wait is for CMMG 14.5 M4 barrels? |
|
My 14.7" complete carbine-length upper with staked hider took a little over two weeks. (Received it two months ago) My 14.5" complete mid-length upper with staked hider took a little over three weeks. (just got it three days ago) And hell yeah it's worth the wait. |

My carbine length 14.5" took around 2 weeks The only problems I've had CS related have been getting ahold of them - just call around 9AM CST, and you'll get ahold of a person, which generally takes care of it. If you're willing to wait for them, the product does speak for itself. Not perfect, stories that they may they make mistakes time to time - gas tubes, etc. (as do most manufacturers), but my personal experience has been high quality, very attractive, and overall very positive |
Ordered my 14.5 gov't M4 upper 5/27 & it shipped to me yesterday. I should have it tomorrow or Fri. Sheri from CMMG called me at home to advise it was being shipped & they kept me updated via e-mail as to its production status prior to that. HTF is that terrible CS? But I don't get pissy with them because I have to wait on an order so it seems the favor has been returned. Attitude is everything. |

9 is the longest I've heard to date - how long I waited for an SPR upper (mostly because they were out of MUR receivers). I'd still expect under three weeks. I also still reccomend going through a retailer, such as AIM Surplus if wait time is an issue at all. ::ETA:: I think they're having a hard enough time keeping it current. There's been a whole batch of CMMG Piston driven uppers (PWS system iirc) that have come and left, and preparations to make a run in 6.8SPC. They're doing WASP coatings on a variety of stuff too, not just magazine followers (although their SSAT ones are gorgeous) None of that is reflected on the website, hence why calling is so much better for the time being. |
