[ARCHIVED THREAD] - CMMG BCG question

I bought a CMMG semiauto bcg from palmetto state armory for my ar15 build. my question is if the extractor comes standard with an o-ring and milspec spring? I would just take it down and check, but I'm not close to the rifle at the moment and won't be able to get to it for a while. I haven't had a problem with it so far. I have seen upgrade kits for very little money and was wondering if it was something worth the effort or if it had already been done.

I check and the BCG does come with the black insert and spring. No o-ring but most don't use the combination of black insert, power spring, and o-ring.

Pretty easy to add the o-ring if it is needed. I wouldn't worry too much. Try it the way it is.

ran about 600 more round through it. had one FTE. I thought it was a stuck case due to ammo selection (GASP!! wolf GASP!!). but I dropped the BCG out and dropped a cleaning rod down the barrel and it came out with no real pressure. I'm gonna drop an o-ring in for good measure
