Order 688xx – 16” 5.56 PredatAR
Order 920xx – 16” 5.56 OBR Order 957xx – 16” 7.62 PredatAR I I did get my lower for my tOBR order 630XX, but decided cancel the orders above. This has nothing to do with anything other than I just can't wait, plus it will hopefully move others up that don't have one yet. Living in MD with the draconian laws we already have and seeing the legislation that is going to the floor this week I decided to buy a lightly used OBR. Probably a bad move, but I look at the extra cash I had to pay for used as insurance. |

| Could be worse. At least I got the one that can't be substituted and I'm thankful for the way that the folks at LaRue treated me. I wish I had more deeper pockets and no I wouldn't be one who would take advantage of his place in line to flip it for a buck....I would have waited to see how it would play out but just can't afford it. If I got the tool and not money for nails, what good does it do me? From the word of a great man 'From dead hands'......keep the faith. It is not us, the law abiding citizens that form the true backbone of this country I love that are the problem. I can only hope one day the majority realizes this. I still hold out hope. On this one, I'd love to be wrong and kick myself for being a dumb azz for spending my money on a premium policy and not have to use it, but as other things in life, at times we can't count on those that supposedly represent us to to do so based on fact. I'm just counting the days I can move a place where I don't have to operate under a mandate I don't feel represents my interest, but we do live in a democracy and it people are so dumb that ultimately support sh!t that is irrational, then they can have it. I have to live with it....for now. I know there are like minded people in this counrty and I still have faith. I wish the best to everyone else who has an order, for I can tell you after getting hands on my 'lightly used' OBR, it is worth the wait. Don't give up. LaRue is great company doing everything they can to support our Second Amendment rights in the way I am sure the Framers would be proud. Long live Mark LaRue, his business, the products he builds, the pople that work to make this stuff for us, the code the code they live and runs the business on, and the people who support them. Don't bail because of the wait. I can assure you, it is worth it. I just wish I had more dough, but again, this is another reality. |
| That's fair on the yay or nay, however with the money I've spent, maybe foolishly, in the past month, it would have to be nay for at least the next year. I guess I could have played it out, put it the next call on credit, and sold it on secondary market, but I'd rather give others the same opportunity I got when I was offered my lower. Plus living in MD, who knows what the law will be by then. It an economic and political reality for me right now. I'd rather blow some life into someone else who is waiting. I am very thankful to have gotten my tOBR lower and the OBR I was able to pick up lightly used, even at the inflated price I paid. These are great products. My budget is spent. But I can promise you, I'll be waiting for the completion of tOBR, which I am very grateful for and completely support what you are doing to help guys like me out.....and will definitely be back. You don't know how sad I was to make the call. |
| Ah man that sucks, I am patiently waiting so I can say YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY when the time comes. I do have two lowers on order that I should get from engage arms in may. Would larue assemble my lowers from me with their other rifle parts if MD bans them. Still want a larue with some other lower worst comes to worse. |
Now that my 7.62 LaRue lower is on it's way, I have "presold" my backup insurance plan .308 lower and LPK at cost to a gentleman I go to church with. I say "presold" because I am waiting until I get the LaRue lower in my hot little hands before letting it go, also the LPK has been on backorder for two months, so until that comes in I will hold on to it. I don't want his money until I can give him full product..... Fewer things for me to remember that way. Also sold a complete AR-15 lower to another gentleman at church at my cost since it is looking like I couldn't get the AR57 upper I want for another year anyways.... I've already got three complete AR's, so I still have my shooters.....
