| I ordered a 10.5" upper for my SBR a few weeks ago and just got around to putting a optic on it. I use a Spitfire 1x optic on 3 different rifles (zero is only a few clicks off depending on the gun) but when I put it on the 10.5" PSA the dot lines up outside of the FSB ears, like way out. Visually it looks slightly canted but its not as easy to see with the bare eye. Is this something PSA would return/exchange, I havent fired it yet to be 100% its canted but I dont want to risk not being able to return it if I shoot it. |

Even if you were to shoot the rifle, it would still be under warranty. If you'd like to test fire the upper to ensure that the front sight is actually canted, please feel free to do so. In the event that you find that the FSB is canted, please send us an IM with your order number and we can have the issue resolved. Thank you. |

Got another one canted to the left. Not as bad as the first. Probably wont bother with shipping it back since the first came back unchanged. Probably just cannibalize the upper. It's a pretty easy fix. Just file out one side of the slot in the upper and reinstall the barrel making sure it is pushed over that way. |

Actually its not that easy, if you move the barrel in the upper then the extension may not let the bolt engage and lock properly...get it REPLACED, that is the only viable solution if you want to use the FSB. This has been an ongoing quality issue, so insist it gets replaced completely, then maybe it will be addressed properly by their QC. |

I have a premium m4 upper, same thing and when I removed the FSB to check, it was slotted not drilled for the fsb pins. Not what I expected at all from a $400 + upper. I don't get what you're trying to say here. FSB pins taper pins and have to be drilled. |
| OP, they will take care of you. I have a 12" premium upper that came canted. They quickly sent RMA and had it back in my hands in a reasonable time frame. When I got it back, iron sights zeroed dead center. It's an excellent upper. Other PSA uppers I have zero within the first index mark. All of these were the premium uppers though. I've never had any of their other uppers. |

I too recently bought a premium M4 carbine upper and while I cannot visually detect a cant, to zero it at 25yrds, puts my rear MBUS way over to the left. Also to the right wing of the FSB is taller than the left. Annoying as heck. My OCD won't let me live with it. I've decided to free float the rail and add my own front sight. Considering I've made 3 orders with PSA and 2 have had quality issues, I'm done.
My other quality issue was a striped lower with an off center mag well. WT_ |
| I had a similar problem with a stainless freedom middy. I could not send it back due to the fact that I had barrel work done. There was a slight visible cant but the front sight base itself looked off, like it was manufactured wrong. I ground it down to use as a low pro gas block, I had my sight cranked all the way to the right and it was barely on paper. Added a rail and flip up sights and its all good now. |
