If you guys made a carry handle I would buy it if it were under $100 or so.  It would not need to be a quick disconnect, screw on would be fine.  I just thought Id throw it out there if you guys hadn't thought of it before.

I'd love a Larue carry handle, but I don't think they'll be able to meet the $100 price.

I'd imagine the carry handle market is tough to break into, from a price-point standpoint.

Though, now that I think about it, they could just get the forgings and add some of their QD mounts; that shouldn't jack the price too much...

The problem is that you can get into a carry handle for $30-50 for a quality one.  I assume most LaRue customers are most likely not interested in a carry handle either.

Why not use the BUIS?

a company that specializes in QD optics mounts would WANT you to have a flattop to mount them to, not a carry handle taking up all the space...

LT is an aftermarket manufacturer not an OEM. the OEM market is already flooded. a CNC'd carry handle would cost MUCH MUCH more than the $40 CMT you can get from numrich.

I agree with you there, they want me to buy the BUIS, then the mount for my aimpoint...

Its cool though, I just like my irons and think detactable carry handles look good.
