I have a loose rear sight on what I was told was a colt carry handle it's marked A 9
the rear sight is canted slighty to the left, feels loose and twists slighty left to right my buddy has the same carry handle on his colt and his sight is tight Can these be fixed, where can I get parts, or exploded views any info will help thanks |

The roll pin is all the way in and straight ! I don't think it has been dismantled as I got it new. The play is caused by the hole in the bottem of the sight being a little larger than the roll pin. |

Okay I see what you're saying. As long as the ball bearing doesn't come out, you're fine with it. If it bothers you though, you could always replace the rear sight windage screw. A new one would probably have a smaller "tighter fit" hole for the roll pin.

ETA: If you do replace the screw, when you take the windage knob off, make sure you take it off slowly so you don't lose the ball bearing or the ball bearing spring. |

You can get it from SAW as well. |
