Do you paint your charging handles? I know this sounds silly but I purchased an unfired DSC upper from a member on the EE and after I took it to the range yesterday for the first time all of the "paint" on the charging handle is coming off. No kidding, black freaking paint is coming off of the charging handle. I scrubbed the heck out of it with a nylon brush to clean it up. Not a pretty site. Regardless this one is going into the trash. I don't want it near any of my rifles. It looks like someone swapped CH with this POS and got a new one before it got to me or the previous owner. I cant say he did it because I don't know if he saw it either as it was unfired. I doubt you do paint your charging handles but I thought I would ask first. |
