So the wife and I had a little talk, it seems she feels a bit bad for me humping around in this s**thole, freezing my ass off, and having the occasional "run in with the locals”. She decided to let me treat myself to another LaRue purchase. So here is a question for my interweb commando brothers. What should I purchase next? My choices right now are: full set up (T-1, BUIS, sling, light, and case) for the tOBR 5.56 I have on order, the Leupy M6C1, or the PredatAR 5.56. So there it is fellas. Help a brother out. |

I thought about this for a few days : While I would say get a tOBR 14.5 or the full auto short barrel LT only LE/MIL if I were in your shoes I'd do something smarter perhaps... Tell you wife to take the money and instead of spending it on LT gear (no offense Mark), tell her to book you a getaway just for the two of you (if you got munchkins they need to go stay with lolo and lola) someplace warm, sand/tropical if possible, and quiet just the two of you for at least 2-3 nights ... OR at a minimum at the Gaylord Texan or Great Wolf Lodge(kiddo friendly w/waterpark indoors) in Grapevine, TX then drive down to Leander if you have your lower tOBR and watch them put her together for you and head over to the range with Mark to break it in :) Tell her you thought an prayed on this real hard while humping around there and your gift is coming home to her/family... Make her feel all warm and happy inside

Did I mention that she loves fly fishing too! No kiddies to worry about. She is also getting a brand new Volvo when I return. So my babydoll is well taken care of. Back to the important issue.
