Greetings!
Just curious before I order, anyone experienced with Del-Ton barrels can chime in here; I know the website states that you can get all of their offerings chrome lined. Does this include the chamber area or is it just the barrel portion? Not even sure if anyone even manufactures barrels like that, but i am extremely skeptical of a barrel i received from another major manufacturer (I can easily tell that the barrel portion is chrome lined, but the chamber color matches the parkerized finish of the outside). Any response would be greatly appreciated; thanks in advance!!

I have two Del-ton's and neither one is chrome lined. Both are chrome moly and I haven't had any issues with either one.  The chrome line option I would assume includes the chamber. Del-ton makes a great product in my opinion. goodluck

The 16" Carbine  M4 Barrel Pre Ban was not available in chrome lining. I did not want it chrome lined anyway. I just received it 3 weeks ago. I assembled the rifle yesterday. The barrel kit was perfect. No burrs at gas hole. VERY clean inside. The Fmarked front sight base is pinned and perfectly installed. Straight as an arrow. Very impressed so far. Their customer service is first rate. The kit came with EVERYTHING (sight parts, delta ring assemble, gas tube and roll pin, A2 flash hider, sling attachment and rivet) I ordered barrel kit to include a Magpul MOE handguard for 24 bucks.

Total for the entire barrel kit 218.04 with 23.64 in shipping to KommieFornia. Total price $241.68

I will be ordering the light weight Mid Length barrel kit for my wife's AR.

I will be buying barrels from Del-Ton until quality changes. I suspect they only get better with time. I don't know what else they could do for their customers. I got the barrel a little over 8 days from ordering.

First rate company! Thank you Del-Ton

Yes, the barrel and chamber out are chrome lined.  Inside the barrel extension is not.  A bad photo and shameless plug of a rifle and for Del-Ton.
Barrel is Del-Ton 16" 5.56 Midlength LW 1/9 (Dah! Edit: Chrome Lined).

Have four Del-Ton barrels.  Have two of the above, MAGPUL'd one in ODG and one in Black.  Both zeroed almost exactly the same within a click or two on elevation.
I also have same above barrel in non-chrome lined (Del-Ton) complete upper with BCG.  No problems, never has malfunctioned in 500-600 rounds.
I really should get and build a Del-Ton lower for it, but anyway ... Another is the AR-15 14.5" M4 Pre-Ban Barrel in chrome lined.
All money well spent and are great shooters at a great price.  All shoot straighter than I can
Del-Ton customer service have always been great to deal with.    You won't be disappointed.
Good Luck.

Thanks for the responses guys.
Actually ended up ordering a Del-Ton heavy profile barrel a few days ago, and it showed up today.
Only items of concern for me was that every flash hider that I hand-threaded on was very tight, and it seemed that the barrel threads were slightly larger than normal. Toughest time getting  flash hider on a barrel that I have ever experienced. Also, there are some "burs" at the gas port when looking down the inside of the barrel. Not sure if this is a big deal or not; would like someone's opinion before i go out and fire this thing. Im hoping the response that I get is "the first round or two clears these out" Other than that, the barrel seems to be very well-constructed.

They do ship pretty fast!  Each order shipped the next day.
I had one that was tight too.  Phosphate/park was a little thick.  I couldn't time it out either.  Then took it off, changed the crush washer, and then it went on fine.
Barrel burrs...  "the first round or two clears these out"     Ha, I've never had any but that's what they say.
You can try a jag and patch on a cleaning rod first.

I had purchased a Del-Ton rifle kit some years back, I looked down the bore and saw a burr at the gas port. I called Del-Ton they said just fire it it would be fine. Six years later still a great shooter, lots of training classes and target shooting, no problems. Thanks Del-Ton

Mossberg.  I think they might get Mossberg blanks, rifle and chamber them themselves.
Or... They might get rifled Mossberg barrels and chamber, profile and finish them themselves.
Del-Ton will probably be along shortly and confirm.

ETA: The Del-Ton Extreme Duty carbine has a FN barrel, I do believe.
