| I own one of the unobtainium Colt AR901-16S rifles, the 901 with the free floating barrel, and I’m trying to do a Colt C20 build. Would anyone happen to know which MLOK rail would closely resemble the one used on the C20? |
| I believe the more important question would be "is there a forend rail that will fit the AR901 receiver?". IIRC the AR901 is the same upper as the monolithic upper but machined down to take a removable forend. I think the CM762 is made the same way but don't know if it's the same as the AR901. |

My 901 doesn’t use the monolithic upper, it’s free floating and has the same handguard used by the Colt Competition models. I believe that handguard is just twisted on. Edit: realized I read your response wrong, but you’re right. I’m guessing my best shot is getting a M-LOK rail that uses a clamp, just like the handguard used for the CM762/M7. |
