Got a trade-in 6921 upper in today from Clyde Armory. It's in better shape than the website pics reflect. Came with BCG & CH (which I failed to get pics of when I had it apart for cleaning), shiny handguards, and side sling adapter (which was in the LH config before I swapped it to RH). I added the carry handle.      (Ignore the Matech - I was considering using that and opted for the carry handle instead)   |

I've not seen these specific ones come up all that often; usually they're 1/9" HBARs, so...while today there's enough "retro" things out there to be able to pick up a 16" .625 with a front sight on it, still... And I might even have an extra set of normal handguards laying around for it somewhere

I am not allowed to buy anymore but the urge is still real, lol. If you don't own one and like older Colt AR's then I highly recommend you pick one up when you see them come up as Police trades. This and the 6720 are one of the best Colt AR's and you really dont see these very often. Like you said they usually are HBAR barrels. |
