Any idea what this is? Link Colt RO933 M4 Commando Carbine Barrel, measures 12.0" long, label is marked 11.5 inches, 1/7 Twist, 5.56X45 NATO *NEW*Sold Individually. Factory Colt 12 inch long barrel, PACKAGE is marked 11.5" inch long, no parts fitted. Colt magnetic particle inspected barrels. M4 Commando type barrel with M4 feed ramps and chrome bore (1 in 7 twist). Colt Part #: 401779   |

You'all may remember a couple of years ago the "Commando" receivers AU had? The receivers were an overrun for an Italian contract. Since this was likely a low volume model only sold in one market, I doubt we'll see any more, so Theodoric's guess of Colt clearing out the warehouse makes sense. Just like when AU sold off a bunch of stripped Colt lowers, including the M4 Commando lowers.

I guess I didn't word my response well. I was able to get one of the last three Apex had listed and they sold out shortly after that. Even though I selected and paid for ground, Apex shipped yesterday via 2-day air so it should arrive tomorrow. I wish more vendors shipped that quickly. |

Pretty sure he started at $400.00. If it were a complete barrel i'd pay the premium and switch out the 11.5" barrel on my M4 Commando SBR. Too expensive and too much hassle with the stripped barrel. Cheers |
