12" models have a few left https://www.armsunlimited.com/Colt-M203-37mm-Grenade-Launcher-for-M16-M4-AR15-p/r0810.htm Anyone who ordered 9" models and doesn't want to wait we can ship you the 12" barrels immediately to go with your receiver. 9" barrels will ship in the next couple weeks otherwise Once they're gone they'll never be available from Colt again. We aren't selling barrels on their own, each barrel has to cover a receiver

I am really surprised that none of the 37mm barrels have shown up on gun broker yet.

Yeah that’s basically what I was asking. There are a few posts in the thread that make it unclear if they actually will be selling additional barrels at a later date. I know if I order a 12, I’m getting a 12 lol. But since they’re the same receiver and I really would prefer a 9, I want to make sure that there will be an avenue to get one of the shorter barrels down the line. I ordered two 9 inch and two 12 inch within 5 minutes of them being released for sale on your website.
I have received ZERO barrels. Why would one of the FIRST orders be the LAST to ship? |

send an email to [email protected] with your order number saying you'd like to switch the barrel from a 9" to a 12" for immediate shipment, they will do it

If you had an order for both a 12" and a 9" that is the reason they haven't shipped, anyone with orders for both models aren't going to receive their barrels until we receive the 9" so we can ship both at once
If you only ordered 12" models and they haven't shipped please email [email protected] so they can figure out why and get it resolved Quoted: Mine haven't. View Quote |

Coctailer,
can you take a comparison pic of the 40mm and the 37mm bbl., from muzzle end? Thanks, Eric |

They finished anodize from what I understand, being assembled this week should have them in the next 1-2 weeks to start shipping!

Can someone provide an idiot proof form 1 guide for these? Ive only done form 4s and get the basic gist of it, but for markings, comments, overall length, etc, a little apprehensive about waiting a year only to find up my fuckup denies my Form 1

Why is that? LMT is one of the better quality builds. I don't know of anything they make that is not solid. Their bolt is probably the best bolt out there. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I got mine last week. The anodizing is a purplish grey. Not too happy about that. Anyone have any experience with getting something like this re-anodized? I'd like it to be black like my 6920 lower, but refinishing it is probably going to be a huge hassle. I'll probably keep it as-is and try to think of it as being more realistic to what the military has, since they get purple ARs etc. all the time. It's mounted on a USMC-style M4gery.
I do have another, more serious issue--the pin that holds the hook which retains the barrel keeps walking out. It's just a solid stainless steel pin which can easily be pushed in and out of the hole with a finger--it has no groove lathed into it so the spring can catch it or anything. My LMT m203 is not like this--it must have some groove on the pin because that pin can't just be pushed out like this one. With the Colt, I keep having to push the push pin back in. So far the furthest it has stuck out is 1/8" just from me handling the thing and opening and closing it. I'm sure it would completely walk out eventually if I stopped paying attention to it. Are the ones in the military like this? Anyone have any experience? If the pin were to walk out, the hook that retains the barrel would come loose and obviously the barrel would fall out. Aside from these issues I'm happy to have it. The 12" 37mm barrel is nicely done for the most part and fits pretty well in the Colt receiver--no major wobbling. FYI though, I did install it into my Title 1 LMT m203 but it was pretty wobbly. So for anyone hoping to put one of these 37mm barrels on their Title 1 LMTs, beware that the fit on mine at least was loose. |
