| This is a follow up to receiving a brand new 6951 with unpinned magwell insert and missing the 9mm buffer spacer. Originally contacted a customer service rep who didn't care and said the missing spacer should be "ok". Finally got ahold of someone different who cared and actually helped facilitate the return. About 3 months later I received a complete new lower, properly pinned, and with the buffer spacer! Could not be happier and this restored full faith in Colt. Much appreciated to the folks up at Colt who take care of my problem and sorted things out. |

3 months? Yep sounds familiar The turn around time at Colt seems ridiculous. After arguing with them for an hour about them no longer offering a lifetime warranty, even tho my warranty card said so in the box, my 13 month old Colt pistol was accepted for warranty repairs and also took 3 months to be returned to me. Called in November after they had it for 1 month, “sorry. The plant is closed for 1 month for Thanksgiving and Christmas” what? A whole month? Called after Christmas was told plant was closed again for a couple of weeks for new years. Ridiculous customer service. |
