I bought a 6920 today and came home I went to install my YHM flash supp. and the threads are differant. YHM is 28 1/5 I called them and they had no idea what the colts thread size was so I called COlt and was told they don't give out that kind of info.....
WTF I just spent$$$$$$$$ and you can't tell me what the thread size is??????

Anyone out there know what will fit on the 6920 hanksRandy

all of mine sport the standard A2  FH.

It performs almost as good as any and good enough for my shootin'

If I were to change it out, it would likely be for something to host a suppressor (KAC M4 QD, Surefire, Gemtech, or AAC)

That Colt 6920 is good to go right off the rack!

Congratulations on your new shooter, Randy!

All of mine are standard 1/2 X 28.

Are you sure that is what your YHM is?  I'm using a Phantom - 5C2 with no problems.

The 6920 is 1/2 X 28.  5C2 have worked fine on my Colts.  You might make sure which YHM FH you have???

Only reason I'd put a YHM on an upper would be to permanently install one on a 14.5" barrel to make it legal length without a tax stamp.  Why mess with success, when it comes to the 6920?
